River Of Perceptions - The Appearance & The Mind

There is a river of perceptions in all of us. On many occasions perceptions arise, stay for a while and subside in time. When the mind is not at peace, one ceases to see clearly. Like the surface of the lake on a windy day, the image we see is distorted.

One thought comes, followed by another and they go on building perceptions. But they are often misleading, causing us to suffer and causing others to suffer too. Before being too sure of anything, it only helps to look and look again deeply to see if our perception is correct or not.
